Jay Gettenberg obtained a joint Bachelor/Master’s Degree of Accounting from Wake Forest University and his CPA license in 2007. Since 2007 he has acquired the Series 7, Series 15, Series 24, Series 63, Series 79 and Series 99 licenses and has served as the licensed Financial and Operations Principal for over 60 FINRA member broker dealers, engaging in a wide variety of securities activities.
In 2016, Jay become the owner and CEO of ACI via acquisition, and has led the firm’s business development and growth efforts to service more than 150 registered broker dealers every month. Mr. Gettenberg regularly speaks on industry panels and has recently spent six years serving on FINRA’s New York Regional Committee and Small Firm Advisory Committee.

Ilina Stamova received her Bachelor Degree in Accountancy in 2007 and her MBA in Business Administration in 2009 from St. Peter’s University. For two years post -graduation, she was employed at Buchanan & Associates, a FinOp and compliance outsourcing firm for broker dealers. During this time, Ilina gained invaluable industry experience and was successful in obtaining the Series 28 license. She joined ACI in 2009 and has since developed an extensive knowledge of the broker dealer industry.
Ms. Stamova currently serves as the Financial and Operations Principal for numerous FINRA broker dealer member firms and assists in the supervision of the accounting and bookkeeping staff at ACI.

Elizabeth Attanasio received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from St. Johns University in 2001. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Financial Operations Principal (Series 27, 99), and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. She has had extensive training in public accounting and auditing for over 16 years at Broker Dealer oriented firms such as Rothstein Kass, Anchin, Block and Anchin, and WithumSmith+Brown.
Ms. Attanasio is familiar with all facets of management and financial reporting and regulatory (SEC & FINRA) compliance. She has been a licensed FinOp for Broker Dealers for over 8 years and has acted as their Outsourced Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Attanasio is currently an active member of the Stock Brokerage Committee of the NYSSCPA, and a member of the AICPA and ACAMS. She also volunteers with Autism Speaks and is the Chairperson of her local Committee.

Chris Meyers is a CPA and a Series 27 license holder. Mr. Meyers started his career at ACI in 2015 as an intern in his final year at Brooklyn College where he graduated with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Management and Finance. Shortly after interning with the Company, Mr. Meyers was hired full-time and shadowed Mr. Gettenberg for several years where he learned all aspects of broker-dealer accounting and operations. His passion for financial services consulting led him to take a significant role in the Company where he is now responsible for a team of consultants and oversees a significant share of ACI clients.
Mr. Meyers specializes in broker-dealer accounting, FINOP services and clearing firm financial and operational reporting.

T. Keith George, a licensed C.P.A., has more than 25 years of professional experience and an extensive background in financial services. He has served as Chief Financial Officer, Controller, and consultant to numerous registered broker-dealers, including carrying firms and member firms active in market making, proprietary trading, investment banking, and private placements.
Mr. George began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young. He later served as a regulator in Bank Supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. More recently, he spent 10 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in various financial management reporting roles. Mr. George has a demonstrated track record of strengthening internal controls and risk management processes.
Formerly known as Gettenberg Consulting, ACI – Accounting & Compliance International was founded in 1984 with the goal of becoming an industry leading provider of broker-dealer accounting services. In the summer of 1986, we signed our first lease on Wall Street, with the expectation of specifically servicing securities firms located on the trading floors of the New York Stock Exchange and the American Stock Exchange.
Over the past 30 years, we have expanded our services to provide bookkeeping and accounting to U.S. domiciled broker dealers and investment advisors with operations across the globe.
